- According to the provisions of Article 3 of China’s Animal Protection Law, personnel on this campus who engage in animal experiments on living vertebrates must submit an animal experiment application form in advance, and animal experiments can only be carried out after being reviewed and approved by the "Experimental Animal Care and Use Committee-IACUC" on the Jiaotong University campus. .
- The host of the animal experiment application form and the personnel responsible for conducting animal experiments must attend the "Laboratory Animal Center Instructions and Educational Training Course" held by the Animal Center on the Jiaotong University campus, complete the course examination and obtain a certificate number before they can apply.
- One of the host of the animal experiment application form and the person responsible for conducting animal experiments should have at least 3 years of experience in animal experiments.
- Off-campus personnel must sign a contract with the school before they can apply for animal experiments, and the IACUC on the Jiaotong University campus is responsible for the supervision of the care and use of experimental animals.
- Please check the "Laboratory Animal Management System" [IACUC Policy] for the information required to fill out the animal experiment application form.
- The applicant logs into the "IACUC Animal Experiment Form Application" of the "Laboratory Animal Management System" to fill out the application form and upload relevant information. After submitting it online, the management system will send the "Submit Paper Application Form" and ask the host of the animal experiment application form to sign it. . Submit the hard copy to the IACUC administrative office (Wu Jiawen, Room 325, Xianqi Building, Boai Campus, 03-5712121, extension 56943). After being notified that the applicant fails to pay for 2 times, the case will be deemed to be withdrawn after 60 days.
- If the review opinion is a "reexamination after correction" case, the IACUC will administratively organize the review opinion and send the review opinion to the applicant online. The applicant is asked to respond with corrections based on the review opinion. The response period for the initial review is 90 days, the response period for the second review is 30 days, and the response period for the second review is 30 days. If there is no reply, it will no longer be accepted.
- If the approved application form needs to be changed, it is limited to the experimental execution period, animal experimenters, animal strains or quantities, experimental procedures, etc. Please fill out the "IACUC Change Application" in the "Laboratory Animal Management System" and submit the paper change Application form.
- The extension period during the implementation of the plan is limited to a maximum of 1 years.
- When the personnel involved in animal experiments are changed, there must be personnel qualified to operate animal experiments and provide relevant certificate numbers.
- After the animal experiment begins, the project leader shall submit the [Animal Experiment Applicant’s Practical Application of Animals Questionnaire] to this committee in January of each year, so that the Association can fill in the "Animal Scientific Application Supervision Report" of the Agriculture Committee. Please fill in different practical application animal questionnaires for individual animal experiment projects.
